Giambologna Flying Mercury Bronze. Classic bronze figure depicting Mercury after Giambologna, the figure stands on a putti head blowing wind under the wings on his ankles, he holds his winged scepter cradled in his left arm and his right hand is pointed up in front of him; on a turned rouge marble base with brass presentation plaque on the front reading "5. Juli 1925, Familien, F. & O. Selinger - Jesser". Unsigned, has a medium brown patina and is in good overall condition. 31 in. high x 7.5 in. dia. x 11 in. deep. Weight: 35.75 lbs.
