French Figural Charioteer Mantle Clock. 3.75 in. porcelain dial with brass hands and hinged door bezel with beveled crystal; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed "Samuel Marti, Paris, 1900", has a half hour strike on a bell. Sculptural spelter case in the form of a charioteer standing in his chariot behind 2 horses. The chariot's shaft leading between the 2 horses is detached where it meets the chariot; clock winds, runs and strike, no damage to dial. 16.25 in. high x 21 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 22 lbs.
